Andrea Scott set up her business Independent Dementia Support in 2014 when she was made redundant by the Alzheimer’s Society.
After completing her Estate Planning examinations in 2016 she joined Civil Wills on a self-employed basis.
She is passionate about people with dementia and their families understanding the importance of Powers of Attorney and updated Wills to help protect their finances and property where possible from being used for care home fees.
Her belief is that a ‘Power of Attorney’ is one of the most important legal documents that everyone should have in place. Due to Data Protection legislation no one can speak on your behalf about your property, finances or health.
She has now extended her work to clients who require more general Estate Planning Services also.
We are now working virtually during the current crisis and are offering reduced fees for our Power of Attorney service.
