My name is Annaliese Horton and I have been a Pilates teacher for 13 years, having previously worked as a professional dancer.
Through my Pilates career I have worked with a wide range of clients from those recovering from back surgery to triathletes and everything in between. My classes both at my studio in Sidcup, The Pilates Space, and within the Petts Wood community are friendly and non-competitive and always effective.
I thrive on the challenge of keeping my clients interested and engaged and provide lots of small equipment to keep lessons varied. I take regular classes and professional development courses myself and I am always looking to improve my own skills as a teacher.
I also work privately with clients that need more tailored intervention – often this is post-surgery or due to chronic pain or a specific condition. I have a particular interest in the psychology of pain management and the restoration of good movement.
I care deeply about my clients and their wellbeing; some have been with me since my very first class as a new teacher and I am very grateful to be able to do a job I love.
